The story of MAÍÍZA began in Iztapalapa, one of Mexico City’s most densely populated and resilient communities. Circumstances demanded resourcefulness early, and that instinct travelled north and evolved through years of entrepreneurship, risk, and rebuilding.
Eventually, success made room for a different kind of ambition. A chance to create a full-circle moment rooted in passion, origin, and personal standards.

THE EXPRESSION
After years of connecting with master brewers in Mexico City, the final original LAGER recipe took shape and was refined for final production in Toronto. From the beer to the identity around it, every decision was approached with care.
Brewing, design, entrepreneurship, food, music, and art all have a plae in MAÍÍZA.
